This land was surveyed for Roger Abernathy 19 December 1722 1724 by Robert Bolling*

’s line where the same Crosses the licking place Branch thence South forty degrees East one hundred and sixty poles along Davis’s line thence East forty degrees North eighty poles to a corner thence North forty degrees West one hundred and sixty poles to a Corner thence west forty degrees South sixty two poles to an ash upon Buckskin Creek thence up Buckskin Creek and the licking place Branch as they Meander to the Beginning. With all _ _ to have hold or to be held and yielding and paying as provided in Witness whereof our trusty and well loved William Gooch Esq. our Lieut. Governor and Commander in Chief of our said Colony and Dominion at Williamsburg under the Seal of our said Colony this thirteenth day of October one thousand seven hundred and twenty seen in the first year of our Reign.
