In the name of God Amen I Robert Abournathy Sr. being in my wright (sic) mind on the 19th day of December 1826 do first of Commit my soul to God that gave it and my boddy to the dust from whence it came And feeling disposed to make my last will and testamint Do in the first place reserve so much of my Estate that will be suffcient to pay my funeral Expences and after that do will to my son Miles Abournathy two dollars to be paid out of my Estate and Robert Abournathy Jur two dollars to be paid out of my Estate & James Abournathy two dollars to be paid out of my Estate and Molly (Hutsen?) two dollars out of my Estate & Elizabeth Vanwincle two dollars & Sary Ann ------ two dollars to be paid out of my Estate & Susan --vo two dollars to be paid out of my Estate & Nancy Moore two dollars to be paid out of my Estate And do in the --st place will my land and tennements with all that appertain the-- to with all my perashable property to my wife Sary Abournathy during her widowhood or natural life time and ---- and after her ---- marriage or death ------ to my son Battee Abournathy one hundred acres of my land all of my personable property ---- my Daughter Eliza Vanwincle -------- as follows Reserving my presant premises and dwellings to my son Battee so as to incude one hundres acres ----- and the other eighty acres to my Daughter Eliza Vanwincle so as to include the house where they now live with (line crossed out) and the line that is to divide the land is to be agreed on tetween them but should they disagree they are to choose disintresed men to divide the land and their decission shall be binding Given under my hand and Seal this day and date first -----written and sighned in the presance of Joshua Barnes, William Padfield, Anderson W.
