I, A. F. Abernethy do make and constitute this my last Will and Testament revoking and making of no force any former Will.
First, I will and direct that all my just debts be paid together with my funeral expenses.
Then I will and bequeath to my wife Paulina S. Abernethy all of my real estate including my Daniel Goss farm of one hundred acres adjoining John Link and others. Also, an undivided half interest in another tract known as the Sides tract adjoining Dan'l Rowe and others (the other half owned by A. S. Abernethy Also my six lots in the town of Hickory on one of which I now live, together with all my personal property including notes and accounts due me or money in hand. In short, all of my property real and personal of every description and kind, to be kept and used by her my said wife for her own support and maintanance and that of our minor children. All the foregoing property I will and bequeath to my wife Paulina S. Abernethy during her lifetime or widowhood, should she again marry, then I will and direct that my estate be then administered and settled and divided amongst my children just as if it would be under the laws of North Carolina if no will had been made.
I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Paulina S. Abernethy my executris of this my will and trustee for my minor children.
          Witness my hand and seal this 2nd day of March, 1885.
